The Lord is my God

It was a strained relationship with my Father after my Mother died. He and I were dealing with sorrow privately. Love was still there, but pain separated us. It’s hard to recover from irreversible loss.

We learned from each other in different ways. I believe God drew us closer as the years went by. We learned to laugh again. Thank You Jesus for being our comfort. Thank You Holy Spirit for Your kind and gentle nature.

Changing my mindset to live in the present. I am making progress pursuing goals.

During this season of new growth it’s important to recognize what is working and what needs to be done better. A reflection of my goals is to work in the present tense. These goals will define the plans in reference to God’s will is leading in the right direction.
